Barcelona Bears

On Sunday 22nd June we had a visit from four former Glasgow Rangers players who were in town for a supporters' charity function. Two of them, Colin Stein and Willie Johnstone, were members of the European Cup Winners Cup winning team in 1972. Of the four, the other two being Andy Goram and Charlie Miller, Colin is a bowler and he enjoyed a challenge match with Shirley Bannatyne and he actually managed to win a shot off Shirley. It could not have been easy for him as he had to suffer a constant barrage of insults from the Goalie.
