Health Physics

This is a study of the uses of Physics in the field of medicine. Starting with familiar applications such as thermometers, stethoscopes and spectacles, the Unit then progresses to more modern applications such as ultrasonics, fibre optics, and to radioactivity and its applications in medicine.
