This is a matrileneal descent, showing only the daughters, and the daughters of daughters, etc, from Beatrix, second wife of Guillaume I, Count of Geneva. In E.S., Band XI, Tafel 158, she is calledBeatrix de Faucigny, daughter of Aimon I de Faucigny; however, she is not listed in the Faucigny genealogy in Band XIV, Tafel 70. Another genealogist told me several years ago that she was actually called Beatrix de Valperge, but with no information about her parentage.
