Rev Charles Patrick de Candole (1907–1992)
Rev Donald Vully Candole (1913–1982)
Alex died on 3 May 1917, his death was registered in Ipswich.
Mary nee Paterson
Mary was born in Paris on 8 August 1876, the daughter of Charles Edward Paterson (1843–1880) and Alison Barbara Cruikshank (1846–1924).
Her father died when she was only 3. Her husband died when she was 41, leaving her with four children under 14.
At the 1911 Census she and her elder two boys were staying with her mother who was living in Cornwall (the youngest not yet born); her 8-year-old daughter is with her father in Ipswich. One may perhaps deduce from this seperation that even then her daughter was perhaps somewhat contrary !
More to come !
Mary died in September 1963 in Toft, Cambridgeshire
