The Family's Origins

One noticeable feature of this Vully de Candole Tree is the quite remarkable lack of daughters, except in the line descended from 111113 Rev. J Alexander C V de C, who had a daughter Alison (1903–2002). It seems that ALL the rest of the family only produced two daughters - Louisa Mary and Corine - both of whom appear on this Family Tree.
Another curiosity is the merging of genrations - for example, Alison, the eldest, married at 21 in 1924, while her brother Charles did not marry until 1946, so her eldest child was 22 when his eldest was born - a generation apart.
