What Swansea Could Have! 2

Here are a few wonderful old buildings that have been bought by the Academy Music Group. The AMG are partners with Live Nation. Together they both present all the top names in popular music around the world today in a varied range of venues across the world.

The venues shown here are classic examples of an old building being brought back to life after its cinema and bingo days come to an end. AMG usually spend anywhere between £2M and £5M on renovating the entire building and bring it into the 21st century.

This is how I see the Albert Hall for the people of Swansea, as a major world class music venue and renovated beatifully too!

I think you will like what you see.......

The o2 Academy Glasgow opened in 1921 as the New Bedford Cinema and was a huge park of Glasgows entertainment scene until it closed in 1983 and became a bingo hall. After 10 years bingo it was left to rot away until AMG bought and spent over £4M on its reinvention as a music venue with a seating capacity of over 2500.
