THE RAINBOW

The rainbow filled the purple sky; its radiance

 filled my soul with awe.  Just for a moment

God came nigh; beyond there was an open door.

  In that same instant standing there, gazing at

that wondrous sight, I knew release from mortal

fear, for where He reigns there is no night.  And

then I knew with certainty that Jesus Christ rose

from the dead.  His sacrifice has set us free; a

crown adorns His royal head.  He will return to

earth once more, to wipe away our every tear; and

we shall feel our spirits soar, as heavenly music

fills the air.  Then peace will reign on earth and

we will see our Saviour face to face; and in His

holy courts will be, thousands there from

 every race.  The floodgates will be opened where

the living waters flow; and at the name of Jesus

every knee will bow.   Mg
