Pennants Writing and Research Group
We are linking Community Research Volunteers from North Wales and North Clarendon in Jamaica, to explore the story of the Pennant family plantations.
This initiative was started by Yasus Afari and developed with the Ogwen Valley Writers Group, which he introduced in 2019. Now with the help of an inspirational Jamaican student, Rashedah, who is currently takinging a break before starting her university studies, the Pennants Local History Research project is now underway.
