The Long-tailed Tit is easily recognisable by its long tail. It has a distinctive pale grey colour with black and whitehighlights. It is a sociable and noisy noisy bird, congreating in flocks of up to 20 birds. Like most tits, they rove the woods and hedgerows, but are also seen on heaths and commons with suitable bushes. This is one of a regular group that frequent a garden feeder near Renton.
