CHAFFINCH : Fringilla coelebs
This is one of our most common birds and is often found in our gardens where they may sometimes be seen at feeders. They usually eat prefer seeds and insects. While you omay notice them perched and singing on a high branch, much of the time they hop about on the ground and under bushes looking for food.
