Art Event 2012

This year's event was
"THE CREATIVE INTERPLAY OF NATURE"

PAINTING THE LIVING MOOD OF SCOTLAND"

This was the ninth in a series of annual art events organised in aid of charity by the Rotary Club of Aberdeen Deeside,  held on Sunday 13h May at the Marcliffe Hotel, North Deeside Road, Pitfodels, Aberdeen where proprietor Stuart Spence has once again generously donated the use of the Grand Ballroom for the evening.  The artist this year was David Newbatt.  The painting process started at 7.00 pm and was captured live and projected for all to see using a high-quality CCTV system.    Proceeds from the evening were donated to Nature Nurture and other  charities.

This year artist David Newbatt painted not one but two pictures in the alloted time and both were auctioned at the end of the event with the proceeds being generously donated to the supported charities.
