Shoebox Scheme

There are many ways that Rotary clubs help other people.  And the Rotary Shoebox Scheme is one of them.  But - wow - 800 of them!  Well, 800 empty boxes have arrived, and now we start the process of persuading people to fill them with goodies.  Many schools local to the Aberdeen Deeside club will help with this - but we are always pleased to give to individuals who wish to be part of the scheme.  The boxes will be distributed to many different countries in Central and Eastern Europe.  Each year Rotary send around 60,000 boxes.  The boxes are distributed to known contacts and we can guarantee that every Shoebox goes to a deserving child or family.  If you wish to be a part of this Scheme, then contact Anne Russell on 01224 733384.

The shoebox scheme is part of the Rotary International programme and is independant of other shoebox schemes.   Click here for more details.
