Congratulations to Pritesh Hasmukh Shah, Naina Anju Shah & Priya Atul Shah for their successes at the NAFAS National Show Harrogate, UK - 9 & 10 July 2010.

All three members had worked very hard in planning and executing their exhibits not to mention transporting most of the plant material and components from Nairobi to Harrogate, UK. They competed against highly skilled competitors including past Best in Show winners such as Jayne Edmonds (Best on Show in 'Mixed Media' Telford 2006), Ann Kennedy (R/Up to Best in Show 'A Change of Tack' Coventry 2009), Margaret Whittaker (Best On Show 'Wax Lyrical' Edinburgh 2008 plus numerous other top awards), Craig Bullock (1st 'Sea Ghost' WAFA Glasgow 2002) etc but still managed to outshine them!!

This is indeed a proud moment for Kenya Floral Arrangement Club and has put us on the world map as far as floral art is concerned.

Their exhibits were much admired by fellow competitors, judges and members of the public.

Well done also to our talented junior member Priyanka Atul Shah for sending an entry in the junior craft class 'Gathered Treasures' (a swag).
