THE FAYRE ON THE SQUARE

THIS YEAR'S DATE HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED JOIN US FOR ANOTHER FANTASTIC EVENING ON THE 19TH DECEMBER 2012

Fayre on the Square is to be a fun packed evening of entertainment for everyone. All businesses in Strath will be open until 8.00pm giving you a chance to get all your goodies right here on your doorstep.

TIMETABLE:
4.00pm: Cllr Richard Greene switches on lights
4.10pm: Flumgummeries Christmas performance
4.30pm Adult choir
4.30pm - 5.30pm: Santa in residence (beside Cornerstone)
5.00pm: C is for Craic
5.20: Cub Scout choir
5.45pm: Adult choir
6.15pm: Band Performance - 'A night to Forget' (Malachi Robertson-Turner, Ian Paul, James Potter, Oliva Carr)
6.15pm - 7.15pm: Santa in residence (Beside Cornerstone)
6.30pm: Carole Miller (Harp)
6.50pm: Dot (Singing)
7.10pm: Rift Raf                                                                          7.30pm Finale                                            

8.00pm: Open mic and disco at The Millcroft Hotel

Timetable tba

Scouts: will be shoe shining, welly washing and roasting chestnuts.
Beautopia (In Na Mara): will be offering manicures and polishes
Starbox (In Na Mara): will be offering bracelet making
Millcroft: Disco and open mic from 8pm. Also serving mulled wine and figgy pudding.
The Parent Council: will be face painting in Cornerstone.
Christmas tree will be kindly donated by Flowerdale Estate.

Some 300 plus people attended the Fayre on the Square despite the weather. Santa was very busy with over 80 children calling into see him. Due to it's hugh success we will now attempt to make this an annual event so keep up to date with it's developments right here.
