Is the private sector milking the public sector?

A reader has concern about public money and how it can be milked away by the private sector.    The letter appears on our letters page and is certainly food for thought.   Maybe the public should be more aware of how these schemes work - and the amount of money (your money) paid in interest over the years.

Cllr Peter Rees responds:   "In terms of the NPTCBC that there is no PFI funding involved in the building of either the Gwyn Hall or the Afan Lido. As Deputy Leader, I can not be more direct than this. I trust that will "quell the doubting voices."
