Reader writes in with figures
Is this the greediest lot of Labour Councillors in Wales?
We are not asking this question - it arises from the latest letter on our readers letters page. It lands on our website just weeks before the May council elections and is sure to upset Labour members.
The reader quotes figures which he says speak for themselves - and gives information on other official websites where they can be checked.
Another item on this news page mentions that Neath Port Talbot CBC has the second highest council tax in Wales. Many will wonder if the figures mentioned in this letter are a contributing factor?
We welcome further comments on this - especially from Labour councillors who may want to justify the relevant figures.
