Reader slams NPT Council for Council Tax Increase - nearly 2%
As for Community Council Tax in Blaenhonddan (the precept) - it is going up by 22% !!!!
A reader's letter slams Neath Port Talbot for the near 2% (1.94%) increase in council tax and asks who is to blame? The reader suggests that, with the off loading of council houses and fortnightly bin collections, they should be making savings to avoid any increase.
The same reader mentions the increase in the Blaenhonddan Community Council precept, which we have since been told from two sources is 22% and compares it with the neighbouring Dyffryn Community Council who have frozen theirs for the fourth year running.
