Neath Roman Castle
Is Neath's Roman Castle being left to decay?
After £2million being spent on the refurbishment of Victoria Gradens, we wonder if Neath's Roman Castle, or what is left of it, is being ignored?
The fact that it is on our doorstep we tend to take it for granted, or even ignore it. However, it could be a tourist attraction and bring revenue to businesses in the area.
Currently the decay and growth on the stonework is sadly evident - perhaps a lottery grant may help? Such a grant helped Victoria Gardens - and it shows what can be done when interest is taken in our heritage.
