Above are details of panels at Fort Augustus Monastery before cleaning.

 After cleaning.

I have recently taken over at Northern Light Stained Glass, Katewell, Evanton,  Ross-shire. The previous owner Angus Cullen has retired. I have worked with Angus since 2001. Projects include Ness Bank Church Inverness, St Andrews Fortrose, Tain Parish Church, The Highland Club at Fort Augustus Monastery (with LDN Architects) East Cromarty Church, Coxton Tower Llhanbryde (with LDN and Laing Traditional Masonry) and Dornoch Cathedral. I have a commissioned memorial window in Glencoe.

I can offer specialist advice and technical expertise  in matters of restoration, conservation, repair, cleaning and protection of all types of leaded glass also wood and steel framed windows. Large panels can be removed, boarded up and then rebuilt in the studio with new lead came frameworks using as much original glass as possible. Missing glass can be sourced to match closely to the original colour, tone and texture. Panels are refitted with new ties, painted bars and colour matched lime mortar. I pay great attention to detail and leave the site clean and tidy.

New panels can be designed and fitted. I welcome enquiries from Architects and Surveyors. I can visit sites to quote for a single pane to multiple window projects. I will also be happy to quote for discretely fitted (Church and Heritage approved) polycarbonate vandal proof screens.
