These high quality strong and durable shelf brackets are designed to be bolted to the greenhouse glazing bars using the cropped head bolts, the narrow bolt head easily enables it to be slotted into the glazing bar, and when turned locks itself into the channel. Can also be screwed to wooden greenhouses (screws not supplied)
It is recommended for the brackets to be spaced approx. 2 feet apart at each glazing bar and one bracket at each end. Timber shelving is the most commonly used material for the shelf, the top of the brackets are pre drilled if screw fixing is required (screws not supplied)
Ideal for pots, seed trays, cutting and hanging plants, and off course storage
Will fit most greenhouses that are assembled with standard 10mm square headed bolts.
Why use aluminium: All dissimilar metals have an electrochemical reaction when in contact with each other with the addition of water or damp, humid conditions, resulting in increased corrosion of the lesser noble metal. the same reason you do not use metal nuts and bolts on an aluminium structure.
