1935 - 1938

During this period the LFB tried several variants of the cork helmet.  The original London Pattern MkI "Cherry Red" was replaced in 1936 by the very similar MkII version but in black this time and then in 1937 by a much grander MkIII version, known as the "Cock's Comb" version.
