Our May meeting was rather different from the monthly demonstration.

Bindya Shah and Hansa Patel had put together an excellent presentation on Foliage. As Bindya was one of the Judges, Aruna Shah kindly presented on her behalf. In-depth information on growth, conditioning, ideas for manipulation were shared by both ladies.

Later on Club Chairman Pritesh Shah presented a slide show of images of selected exhibits 'Inlaid & Overlaid', 'Intricacy' & 'Beauty Takes Command' from previous NAFAS National Shows Bournemouth 2003 and Edinburgh 2008 with interesting live commentary.

The Judges for the monthly competition were Bindya Shah & Vibha Dodhia who were very impressed with the standards of design and interpretation especially for the title 'Frugality' in which many competitors excelled and achieved Gold awards.
