Hedgehogs

EPICH is aiming to make Hurworth a recognised "Hedgehog Friendly Village" through its support of Hedgehog Street and following its guidance.  Making the village part of the national hedgehog highway is a first step, as is contributing sightings to the big hedghog map.  Understanding our hog population is a key part of being able to ask the highways authority to erect, for example, a "caution - small mammals" warning roadsign.
