Seems to me they are all at it?

This time it is alleged that Bethan Jenkins AM. (Plaid Cymru) Who appears to have the audacity to defend her claim of almost £13,000 for a second home in Cardiff. As reported in a local weekly newspaper last week.

Why this person needs a second home in Cardiff. I honestly do not know? Especially at £850 pounds per month. I wonder how big a property it is for that amount?

I would like to know why? That if it is possible for Gwenda Thomas AM (Labour) who lives within the same area as Bethan Jenkins can travel to Cardiff every day (or as she needs to travel) I see no reason why Someone half the age of M/s Thomas cannot do so!

All AM's get paid a damn good wage for doing what they do! But Bethan Jenkins seems to claim more in expenses than some of us get in a year to live on? Just because it is within the Assembly guidelines to make these over-elaborate claims on her expenses does not mean that she is compelled to do so!   £2,056 for advertising her surgeries in a Rugby Teams program? When a notice in the local press and some on a few nearby lamp posts or shop windows would be just as efficient and a hell of a lot cheaper for the taxpayer?
I bet the Ospreys officials are smiling when they see her coming?

Hywel Francis MP for Aberavon.

Seems to have extremely high claims for cleaning his second home? Why he cannot clean it himself I do not know? Everyone else has to clean their own homes even when they are working. Why should he be any different?

We all have to pay for our own food at home. So why should he be able to claim in two years an amount which is alleged to be in excess of £5,000?
How many is he feeding for that sum? I would assume that he lives on his own when in London and I would have thought it possible to feed well on an amount much less than he is claiming? Many of the people he represents have to. Even if he eats his meals out? MP's food and drink is subsidised and a lot cheaper within the house of commons. So it would seem to be an excessive amount to claim for meals for a maximum of five days a week?
I suggest that he finds a cheaper supermarket to do his shopping!

The more I read about some of these covetous people and the amounts they seem to be claiming. I really begin to wonder what is going wrong with Joe public for allowing these people to make such excessive and immoral claims without some sort of protest? Peter Hain, Hywel Francis & Bethan Jenkins represent us in our local areas as MP's or AM's and all seem to have made excessive claims of their expenses along with a lot of others of their kind?

I can only hope that action will be taken at the ballot box when the time comes to put the cross in the right place. Not where it has been marked on the voting paper in the past? That goes for MP's, AM's and County Borough Councillors. We will all remember how they have all jumped on the band wagon at the publics expense!
