What a laughable bunch of Barrack room Lawyers?

One could not help but laugh after reading an editorial on page five of the local weekly rag. (Thursday 13th of August, 2009).

The Police speak to councillor after "Disgusting" racist joke on web.

I do not know what the joke was about. But I do know the owner of the site who has been accused of putting it on the site. I would rather believe that hell has frozen over, before I would believe he was responsible for deliberately publishing a racist joke on-line?

I would rather believe that his accusers seem to be a bunch of bitter and frustrated people who like to think that they are of some importance in the community, when all they appear to be are a bunch of barrack room lawyers?

Some chap who goes by the name of MR Mike Richards who claims that people are working hard in the community to encourage good relations in all groups and would like to see the site removed off the web completely?

Judging by MR Richards's alleged reactions and statement in the paper, it would appear that it is he who is working hard to destroy the work of the people of the community who want the good relations with all groups with or by his bitterness?

It goes on to say's that Mr Griffin's website was discussed in the July meeting of the council under an item of discussion by the council as to how they could protect their reputation and correct inaccuracies it felt had been printed in public? I think someone should take pity on them and tell them that their council's reputation was destroyed some months ago and only by themselves. By the petty quarrelling that they caused within the past council meetings. In fact, I believe that after reading the reports in the local press, it would appear that the Blaenhonddan community council have and still are, making themselves a laughing stock in the public's eyes by their petty and inconsequential backbiting and the sooner they realise they are there to serve the public, not control them the better !!

The article goes on to say that the B/h council sent Mr Griffin a letter by recorded delivery? Asking that articles relating to council employees be removed off the site? As long as the information contained therein is what has been reported in open council. It is therefore, information that is accessible to the public and if the clerk had done her job correctly and recorded the same in the council minutes? This information is and should be accessible for the public sight and knowledge.

My advice to Clerk and council? Give it up! By your seemingly and somewhat scornful actions towards others. It would certainly make anyone wonder, if you are worthy or competent of holding the positions you do?

How Can They Do It. Have They No Conscience?

It is that time of the year again when we read in the press what the scavengers Sorry, I mean councillors take out of our pockets. The list is printed via the link below for all to see. To find out who the blue eyed boys are in the new labour led council. Look to see who has claimed the highest amounts? Look to see who has claimed the special responsibilities payments? Nearly all, if not all. "NEW LABOUR" councillors. They are the ones who are supposed to believe in democracy? Ha Ha. What a joke? This proves what they are and how they covet the council tax payers money.

In Fairness. I feel I have to make a point here. Cllr Anthony Taylor of Aberavon, has claimed nothing at all. He has again stuck to the promise he made some years ago. Good on you Cllr Taylor. But do we see any of the true ratepayers party (I do not mean the turncoats that went over to Labour last minute before the election) or Plaid Cymru councillors being giving any special responsibilities? All the cream is reserved for Ali (Ba Ba) Thomas and his blue eyed boys.

Having said that. I do not believe that anyone should be out of pocket if they serve or sit on any public committee or service. What ever they legally spend out of their own pocket should, quite rightly be reimbursed. But that does not mean that they have got to rip us off either! Take note New Labour!

The biggest taker of all is the out going leader of the council Cllr D. Vaughan who has just been voted in to the European Parliament. But it is alleged he is not willing to give his seat up on the borough council in case he misses out on his wages and until his job in the EP is ready and waiting for him? He has the highest claim of all £46,244.64. Plus £128.52 Travel allowance and £31.00 Subsistence. Giving a total of £46,404.16. He is a person who we are supposed to look up to and respect? Can you do that? I can't, not when he is taking almost £900 pounds a week out of our pockets. He reminds me of Peter Hain MP, another alleged New labour parasite?

Then we come to the next one. I'm sure we can all guess who that is? Of course, Cllr Ali (Ba Ba) Thomas. ((Alleged Parasite No 2). He was deputy leader. Now leader, (but of what, Sheep?) because as I see it, nearly all of his new labour flock seem to be following him with their claims. He has claimed £31,072.71. Plus £1,324.00 for travel and do not forget. The leader's limo picks him up at his house nearly every morning and takes him wherever he needs to go and that is a separate and very big expense again and we the people pay for it. In all, he claims a total of £32,396.

Then they try to justify these claims by calling all these add on's Special Responsibility Allowance etc. I think it is a nice little earner just for chairing a meeting. Don't you?

Derrick Vaughan is one of these people that had the cheek to claim he does not do it for the money, but for the good of the people they represent? This is said by most of the new labour councillors, also AM's and MP's who I am sure would faint if they were asked to justify their claims? Has anyone ever seen a cat or a dog lick an empty dish? I never have and I don't think I ever will.

You all know to which of you I refer as grabbing councillors ?

What a bunch of parasites they are.
