The Group is based in the Bryncoch / Waunceirch area of Neath.
The aims of the Group are:
· To raise awareness of conservation and environmental issues in local area.
· To undertake conservation and environmental projects which increase biodiversity in local area.
· To work with other groups in the community to make environmental enhancements in the neighbourhood.
· To promote understanding of global problems such as climate change, recycling, energy consumption, carbon footprints
Membership is open to anyone and it’s FREE.
The Group has full insurance cover and can provide tools and equipment for the activities it undertakes.
Projects that the Group are involved in include:
- Habitat management
- Litter picking
- Toad Patrol
- Survey work
- Tree planting
