At the Annual General Meeting of Burton Scout Council held on 10th June, I retired as District Chairman. I'd done 8 years, and with a new District Commissioner in place, I thought it was time to hand over to the next generation.

Scouting looks like it's going through yet another period of change, so that was my cue to leave whilst the going was good!
