1982 SHOW

The "Year of the Scout" when we celebrated 75 years of Scouting. Can you recall the camp on the Newton Road recreation ground when the whole district were in camp for an action weekend? I seen to remember canoeing, and lots of activities laid on by the Army Youth Team.

Anyway, down to the Gang Show. In the event this was the last of the series of shows we did, although I have found the programme and all the planning notes for the next show!

To everyone's disappointment Ralph was too ill to come to our show, and in fact Ralph died a few weeks later on 18th May.

For improved sound quality I've dubbed the taped soundtrack on to the video. There was an issue of timing which I've almost overcome, but the astute observer may notice the occasional loss of sync. The harmonisation towards the end (Make friends with people) is brilliant. Suggest you pump up the volume and/or put the headphones on. Enjoy!
