1974 SHOW

This was the first show that I produced!

John Walling had moved away from Burton with his work and I was asked to take over.

Many of the "old" team had also moved on, so it was a case of getting a new team together and going for it.

The team we had was brilliant. Mavis Beadle came in as choreographer bringing much experience. We introduced an organ for Hartley to play and he was again supported by David Pointon on piano and Geoff Beadle on drums. We did an extra night, now opening on Easter Monday.

WE got the taste for being recording stars last time, so made a recording of the final night's performance once again. You can download the words to the finale here to have a singalong. You can hear the finale at the very bottom of this page. If you want a CD copy of the record it will cost £5 to cover production costs and postage. (Postage might cost a bit more if you live in Australia etc!!!)
