I have just come across a programme for the 5th 26th Burton (Grammar School) Scout Group Gang Show.

This rather battered programme was included in the personal log book of Harold Haywood who was Scout Leader of the 6th Burton (Victoria Road Methodists) Scout Group. There is no date on the cover but it appeared in the log book in the mid 1940s pages.

Harold Haywood  went on to be an Assistant District Commissioner for Burton before moving away from town. He went on to become Sir Harold Haywood K.C.V.O., O.B.E., F.R.S.A., D.L. and worked as the administrator of The Princes Trust.
