Doune was a comedian, think you can tell that from the picture, not sure what he is laughing at, but something is obviously making him smile!
Doune was the sweetest and kindest deerhound you would ever want to meet. He loved everyone and took everything in his stride. He died at the very young age of four and left a gaping hole behind him. During the short time Doune and Merlin had together I am sure he passed over his book of jokes as Merlin is certainly another comedian and can also make you laugh at his antics.

I think Doune is actually trying to decide whether or not to chase Mindy (our cat).
Father Christmas stopped by one year on his way to the village hall, however, neither Kerry nor Doune were very impressed!
