David Anderson

On 6 December 1801 David Anderson died in Demerara. He was the eldest son of David Anderson Esq, Examiner of His Majesty's Customs for Scotland, a senior post based in Edinburgh. [The Gentleman's Magazine, 1801].

David's younger brother, John, served in the Royal Navy and died at Port Royal, Jamaica, in 1805. [Scots Magazine, 1805]
