Baseball Issues

Hail Corsai

Hail Marauders!

Dawdling in bed this morning after watching the Cardinals and the Cubs the other night I could not help thinking, in my waking hours, about an article I wrote in June 2006 entitled "Passion always runs at its peak in a packed house." In this article I made a courageous statement expressing my expectations about the Pirates III which have now been translated into a state of being true. Now, I need to shout about it for I am mighty pleased with the outcome since my expectations have turned out to be granted.  The fact that I new very little about the players and their abilities when I took the decision to coach the team makes this article a contender for a Hollywood movie since it has the story lines that would attract an audience. What it makes this article the more remarkable is that I merely had the perspicacity and the belief, to begin with, that only hindsight can ever supply and with that alone I took off to the sky, and met a team of buoyant and resilient stars who were able to take in my instructions and read my intentions in a well-behaved manner.  Very well done guys, you all have done a wonderful job and you have made me a proud man.
