Our first match of the season and there was palpable anticipation as we gathered in the clubhouse lounge for a bacon cob. There was the usual games-man-ship of statements like, "I'm not playing well", "Can't get on with my driver", "I'm going through a bad patch" and other such flim flam, but it proved to be kidology!
Blue sky, bright sunshine and strong gusts of wind made for a challenging round, but cream always comes to the top! The following results were declared as we sat down for Pie & Chips: -
