How to Find Bicton Arena (note NOT Bicton Park)

FROM M5:

  • Leave M5 junction 30
  • Follow A376 a short distance to a roundabout (first one you come to)
  • Turn right at roundabout onto A376 (ignore sign for Bicton Park which continues ahead on A3052) signed for Exmouth
  • At the next roundabout take the first exit signed B3179 to Woodbury and B. Salterton
  • Follow this road through Woodbury & out the other side
  • Continue to a large crossroads called 'Four Firs'
  • Take exit ahead signed Yettington, E. Budleigh, Bicton Park (take care you are crossing a road with limited visibility)
  • Follow this road through Yettington and out the other side, continue ahead on this road
  • After you leave Yettington, Bicton Arena is on your left (large sign on right hand verge)
  • Go through the large gates and follow the signs. Take care, there will be horses crossing this road under the supervision of a steward

FROM A30:

  • Exit A30 just after Honiton, signed A375 Sidmouth, Cullompton (A373), Services
  • At the end of the slip road turn left
  • At the T-junction turn left, signed town centre, A375 Sidmouth, Cullompton
  • At the roundabout turn right, signed Sidmouth A375
  • At the mini-roundabout take the second exit, A375
  • Follow the road to, and continue through Sidford
  • At the traffic lights turn right, signed Exeter A3052, Budleigh Salterton (B3178)
  • Follow this road into Newton Poppleford
  • At the roundabout DO NOT FOLLOW THE SIGN TO BICTON, this road is very narrow with few passing places! Take the A3052 to Exeter
  • At the Halfway House crossroads (pub called Halfway House on the right) turn left, signed Exmouth B3180, Budleigh Salterton (B3179)
  • At Four Firs junction turn left, signed Yettington, East Budleigh, Bicton Park
  • Follow this road into and through Yettington
  • After you leave Yettington, Bicton Arena is on your left (large sign on right hand verge)
  • Go through the large gates and follow the signs. Take care, there will be horses crossing this road under the supervision of a steward
