Installation
Fr. Sandy Connor was installed as Venerable Preceptor by the R.E.D.G.P. Fr. Sam Dickson and Em. Fr. Denis Morton ably assisted by the Fratres of Muirkirk. A very fine Installation was enjoyed by 59 Fratres attending the muster. With 55 Fratres retiring to refectory, a very pleasurable meal was enjoyed by all.

District Quiz
A Brisbane at Largs team called “Brisbane Bampots” attended the District quiz held at Bank St. Irvine, Hosted by Cunningham Preceptory thanks for the supper and a very enjoyable evening was had by all.
Congratulations go to Catrine & Sorn Preceptory on winning. The shock of the night was that “Brisbane bampots” of Fr. Alan Buntain, Fr. Sandy Connor and Ven. Prec. Andrew Gourley came 3rd out of 11 teams. Thanks to Rt. Em. Fr. John Turner for setting all the Questions and acting as quiz master.

The Neil Gregory and Robert Lamb Games Night
16 Fratres enjoyed the evening of The Neil Gregory and Robert Lamb Games Night; it had taken the same format as the last two years.
The winners where decided by the overall scores of playing Pool, Darts, Carpet Bowls and a Quiz.
This year’s winner of the Neil Gregory Trophy was a Brisbane at Largs team being Fr. J. White and Fr. A. McIntyre.
The runners up were Ayr Preceptory represented by Ven. Fr. Tom Dunlop and Fr. John Irvine.
The winners of the quiz The Robert Lamb Shield were Brisbane at Largs team of Ven. Prec. Fr. A. M. Gourley and Fr. W. Kirkpatrick.
There was a presentation of a few extra prizes,
Team name (Hairy fuse wires), Best Bowler Ven. Fr. Tom Dunlop, Entertaining Bowler Ven. Fr. Iain Wilson.
All Fratres then enjoyed an excellent supper provided by Rosemary, Thanks Rosemary.
