Installation.

Muster
It was an honour for the assembled Fratres on this occasion at of the start of our 2013/14 season to have in our company, Mrs Carol Lamb and Mrs Ruth Gregory who are pictured with the Fratres of Brisbane at Largs before the start of their Muster.
Mrs Ruth Gregory presented the Neil Gregory Memorial Trophy to the first winners representing Springvale, Ven. Fr. Denis Morton & Fr. Alan Buntain.
Mrs Carol Lamb presented a crystal trophy to the Preceptory to be used as the Preceptory sees fit to remember her husband Robert. Then Carol was asked to unveil the new Past Preceptor’s Board, which revealed, 2010-11 R.Lamb (Unfortunately in the photo you can’t see the fantastic gold leaf)
Both Ladies wished the Preceptory & Priory of Brisbane at Largs all the best for the future and hope that it goes from strength to strength.
(Unfortunately Venerable Preceptor Robert Macdonald was unable to attend the Muster and Ven. Fr. Denis Morton officiated.)

District Grand Priory of Ayrshire Golf Competition
was held on Sunday, 30th June at Ravenspark Golf Club, Irvine.
With Brisbane at Largs represented by Fratres Alan Buntain and Robert Bain, last year’s winner Fr. Alan Buntain with a handicap of 18, was runner up with 35 points.
Em. Frater Iain Murray, who was standing in for the District Grand Prior, presented Fr. Alan with is second place prize.
Unfortunately Fr. Robert’s score was not available.

The MacKean Bowling Trophy 2013.
On Saturday 18th May the Fratres of Ayrshire made the annual pilgrimage to Springside Bowling Club to play in the 80th annual Bowling Competition for the MacKean Trophy. Brisbane at Largs was represented By Ven. Prec. Robert MacDonald, Fr. Sandy Connor and Fr. Billy Kirkpatrick.

The Neil Gregory Memorial Trophy 2013
The games night was held at Largs Masonic Temple on Thur. 4th April 2013, there was a good turnout of Fratres from within the District of Ayrshire. It was competed for by teams of two at bowls, darts, pool and a quiz; the winners would be the team with the highest combined scores. A very nice buffet was enjoyed by all, after the scores were tallied the winners where Springvale Priory represented by Ven. Fr. Denis Morton and Fr. Alan Buntain.
