Getting Here is Easy
Based in Forres, just on the edge of the Scottish Highlands and only 26 miles from the Highland capital of Inverness, we are close to the coast and the internationally famous Findhorn Foundation ecovillage and community.
The picture below shows our base, Newbold House, in the bottom left corner, surrounded by countryside, woodland and just a few miles from beautiful Findhorn Bay.

We may seem a fair distance away from you, but getting here is easy. There are good rail, bus, road and air links to Inverness from all over the UK. We are happy to advise you on the best transport options from where you live. If you're coming from the south of England we recommend the Caledonian Sleeper service from London Euston to Inverness. Its a hassle free and fun way to travel and good for the environment. Go to sleep in London and wake up in Inverness! Visit the Scotrail site for more information or to make a booking.
There are also good train services from most other parts of the UK (you may have to change at Edinburgh or Perth). National Express, City Link and Megabus all run regular and reasonably priced coach services to the Highlands. If you choose to fly, EasyJet, FlyBe and BMI offer cheap flights to Inverness from many major cities in the UK. We can help you offset your carbon emissions through our partnership with a local tree planting charity. There are good train and bus services from Inverness to Forres and buses from Inverness airport. We will pick you up in our minibus from the station or bus stop and take you to your accommodation.
Another option is to drive. It may look a long way but Scottish roads are quieter than English ones and the A9 from Perth goes through some of the most breathtaking scenery in the UK, with some lovely places to stop on the way. Parking is available at your accommodation.
