Sociable Drinking

When, consumed in moderation alcohol has been shown to have health benefits for most adults. The relationship aspects of casual drinking in a bar are also important in terms of companionship, social interaction and psychological wellbeing. The vast majority of drinkers in a pub environment are sociable and do not abuse alcohol. At The Riverside we have a zero tolerance approach to bad behaviour, to ensure our customers have an enjoyable experience.

Free to sit and free to think,
free to pay for what you drink,
free to stop an hour or so,
when you're ready, free to go...

When you swear, swear for your country,
When you steal, steal away from bad company,
When you drink, drink at The Riverside Bar

Please note that for the benefit of our good customers we have a zero tolerance approach to inappropriate behaviour. Drinking alcohol should be a sociable event, not a selfish act.

Call frequently...
Drink moderately...
Pay honourably...
Be good company...
Part friendly...
Go home quietly...THANK YOU
