Telegraphists
RAF Telegraphists played a crucial role between 1950's and 1990's in providing communications primarily between overseas territories, back to the UK and between RAF stations with a large network of Communication Centre (Commcens) and lager Relay Centres. In addition there were Tactical Communication Wings which resulted in Telegraphists being some of the first to be deployed into dangerous areas of the world to establish initial communication facilities using morse and telephony.
