In November 2006 the following motion was passed by Wales Green Party:-
“It is hereby noted that Wales Green Party objects to the construction of the LNG pipeline from Milford Haven to Tirley in Gloucestershire. We object primarily on grounds of Health & Safety, a lack of public consultation and the potential for environmental degradation. Plaid Werdd Cymru calls for a full public enquiry into the pipeline.”
A press release was issued at the time, but unfortunately no-one ran the story.
It is understood that the Wales Green Party will discuss the issue of the LNG pipeline at their next council meeting in early September 2009.
