Where the MacPhersons lived, where some were born,and where some of them died during the latter 19th Century.

This picture was taken in 1913. It was run by the McKay Family (Elspeth MacPherson's Maiden Name) in the 19th and early 20th Century. Hugh MacPherson (Elsie Knox's and Alexanderina Morrison's Father) was born here in 1841.

This is the Wedding Day of my Grandmother, Barbara Morrison (2nd Daughter of Alan and Alexanderina Morrison and Granddaughter of Hugh and Mary MacPherson), and my GrandFather, Peter Pearce, in Beauly on St Patrick's Day 1943. Auntie Alice (aka 'Wifey') is to the right of her. To the far right of the Photo is Barbara's Nephew, Alan Sellar, then a young Air Training Corps Air Cadet, who gave her away on behalf of his Grandfather, Allan Morrison, due to his infirmity at the time.
