Lunch followed by our AGM  and a review of David Baldwin's book The  Lost Prince  (Richard of Eastwell)

To celebrate the beginning of our second decade as a Group -  Foundation Day  Lunch at the Dog and Doublet Sandon Staffs


 March 11th

Continuing our discussions from last year on Medieval Medicine.   At Stafford


April 14th.

'Walk to the Paradise Garden' Overview of the history, importance and place of Monastic Gardens in the medieval community.  At Wistaston


 May 15th

'Sugar and Spice' - Papers and discussion of the history and uses of sugar and spices in the medieval world with special reference to ..... food!  At Wistaston

Visit to Chester Cathedral's performance of its Medieval Mystery Play

Annual visit to  Chester to the 'The Midsummer Watch - Giants Parade'

Visit  Chester to see Chester cathedral's contemporary copy of Ranulph Higden's Polychronicon and other precious books in the cathedral library.
