SNOWMAN 2011 REPORT

The NessRallySport's 2011 season started in the same dismal fashion as the 2010 season ended. Tim and Warren had put in numerous hours over the winter to repaint and refettle the car for the new season, but a delay in the return of the rebuilt engine meant that a last minute replacement was sourced and the car despatched north from Carlisle. Having been finished off on the Friday night and stickered up for the following day the decision was taken to scrutineer in the morning.

A jammed pull cable at scrutineering caused much concern and a long delay but the car was passed and the crew signed on. However the fuel rail broke on the car as it was leaving the carpark, and having run out of time to fix it back at home William and Don were consigned to a day watching the results roll in. A real pity as the car looked very smart in its new colour scheme.

The crew has no further plans for the season until such time as the new engine is fully installed and everything working as it should be.
