The Neath Ferret has been told by an official social worker that NPT Council no longer provide a MEALS ON WHEELS service and that they can be delivered by private independent cafes in the Neath and Port Talbot area.

We checked the NPT website in an effort to confirm the situation but found no satisfactory answer.    We urge the Council to make this clear for all concerned'

Hot meals delivered to homes is is now being looked at by The Neath Ferret research team in an effort to see what is available for elderly folk who are unable to cook their own hot meals.

We need feedback from anyone receiving a hot meal service and opinions on the quality and how much they cost.
