Making Parking Space Helps the Community

Credit must be given to thoughtful house owners

Two house owners in Harle Street, Neath, have created parking space on their property.    This has reduced their car insurance costs as well as helping the street's congestion problem.

The photograph below shows their car parking space.

This Google photograph shows how the front wall has been removed to allow off-road parking.   The pavement curbs have been lowered as part of the plan.

It just shows what can be done to help congestion problems.

One reader reminds us (Readers Letters) that THREE councillor candidates live in this street - one of the most congested and badly managed streets in Neath.
