How about Lottery funding for valley train?

Where there's a will.....

How about Lottery funding for a new valley train service?

It has been reported that Victoria Gardens received over £1million for its refurbishment from the Lottery fund - so how about looking at the Neath Valley railway line from a hertiage angle and restore a passinger service to Neath with the aid of Lottery funding?

It would link Onilwyn, SevenSisters, Crynant, Cilfrew and Cadoxton to Neath and Neath Abbey.

It would ease road congestion which is getting worse as weeks go by.

It would be up to council officials to consider this and make an application to the heritage Lottery Fund.

The line would bring business to Neath and the forthcoming shopping centre - as well as being a visitor attraction with a stop at the Cefn Coed Colliery Museum and another at Neath Abbey, adjacent to the heritage site.
