Lord Peter Hain to start House of Lords revolt
Lord Peter Hain is very much aware of the success of Nigel Farage and the fact he has so many videos on Youtube. It is likely that Lord Hain will conduct a series of speeches on how members of the House of Lords should be elected with a democratic process.
Lord Hain is on record saying the present first past the post is unfair and supported the alternative vote system.
It seems that Lord Hain is out to prove that he is not a hypocrite as many believe he is. He is out to show that he is the enemy within the system - as indeed Farage was in Europe.
It is a question of waiting for the right time to pounce with Brexit going through the system. In the meantime he will pick up £300 a day attendance allowance and enjoy the company of others (the Kinnocks included) on the Gravy Train.
