Prisoner work gang security

How prisoner work gang security could work

As one of our readers suggested, prisoners in jail should be given community clean up tasks while serving their sentence.

With current technology in mind it is possible to control prisoners with leg tags made to keep them in range of the supervising guard who has the master control unit.    If a prisoner goes out of range (attempting to escape) the leg unit on the prisoner would operate a loud sound.    If the prisoner does not respond and return to the work area a tranquilliser spike built into the leg clamp would be activated to immobilise him.

Members of the public think it is about time those in prison were made to do useful work for the community.

We hope those in authority will take note of this news item.
