+ Does anyone want a FREE gardening course?    This MAY be possible for anyone prepared to consider helping the Head Gardener at Jersey Park Briton Ferry.    Cllr Andrew Jenkins is looking into a reader's suggestion.   This councillor is just the man to get something organised.  It goes without saying that the Council should cover volunteers with the appropriate insurance.

Residents should value our open spaces and take an interest in the way that they are looked after.    However, it needs a council team leader to get things organised.   The days of sitting back and leaving it to others is long gone - this goes for litter too.   We must care for OUR community.
